Picture and figure series questions involve determining the underlying rule of a series, and then applying the same rule to predict what will come next in the series. Picture and Figure Series questions are on many admissions tests such as the Stanford-Binet, ERB/WISC-IV, and the OLSAT®. On the Stanford-Binet, picture and figure series questions are more the quantitaive type, wheras on the OLSAT, up to 6th grade entry, the figure series questions with complex shapes and structures dominate. The picture series questions are only on the OLSAT Pre-K and K test. There are 90 questions, of which, 50 of them are, figure series questions.
